Campfire Testimonial - Christo

“Great hunt and tour. From meeting us at the airport to the campfire and Champaign welcome, the first night could not have been better. Touring on the first non-hunting day of the hunt area to the day I shot my 41 plus inch Cape Buffalo, it was a first class operation. A couple days break where Christo took us to the area attractions and a shooting lesson for the wife was what she needed. She took down her first game which was a decent sized impala. Throughout the stay, Christo and Minrie fed us wonderful food from the wild game of previous hunts. Service and education could not be better. We will hunt with them again when time permits. Thank you Christo and the whole Alpha Pride Safaris team.”

“I’ve had the privilege of hunting with Christo for over 10 years in both Namibia and South Africa. It’s been hugely successful for both plains game and dangerous game (lions, leopard, buffalo). Trophy quality, knowledge of the animals and their habitat, and gently coaching the shooter have all been second to none. Most of all, he truly cares that you’re having fun and that the experience lives up to your expectations. Honestly, you come as a client and go home as a friend. ”

“Africa has been my passion, and Christo and Minrie have provided the greatest opportunities to visit some of her most beautiful places. These continue to live in my memory of greatness. Namibia’s Skeleton Coast – Cape Cross – where we observed, photographed, and thoroughly enjoyed tens of thousands of seals in this unique spectacle. Also in Namibia, I rode a camel (laughing and thinking Lawrence of Arabia), went to a World Heritage Site – SossusVlei – to see and climb the highest sand dunes in the world. That towering red sand against the bluest of skies – marvelous photography !! In South Africa, a visit to Pilanesberg National Park gave us wonderful (and up-close) photos of elephants, rhinos and their youngsters. Likewise Christo brought us to Etosha National Park for the stunning views of this enormous lakebed – the largest in Africa – and its abundant wildlife, including an elephant rolling in the mud! And for a quite unique experience, Christo and Minrie took us to the annual horse riders endurance race in Walvis Bay. These most beautiful animals racing across sand dunes with the ocean backdrop – just magnificent. My world has been opened to the greater beauty that Africa has to offer for those who want more !! ”
