The question always comes up, what do we need for vaccines?
And so as far as vaccinations go, we strongly recommend the the people to take in a shot before they come. If they, if they’re not up to date with that. And that’s not necessarily for Africa. That counts for anywhere you go in life.
You just heal up easier if you had a shot than anything like that. A lot of people are concerned about the malaria. So malaria, there is areas in Africa where you need malaria medicine, where you’re gonna be in contact with malaria or possibility of being in contact with malaria. But if we are gonna take you to the area where there’s malaria, we will let you know as soon as you book that specific safari for that area that you need to go see your doctor and find out from him.
But it’s always advisable. Go see your house doctor. Ask him what he thinks you need as far as vaccinations go. But if I tell you I’m taking you to the Kalahari, or I’m taking you to the Eastern Cape and you do not need malaria medicine, it doesn’t matter what they tell you, you don’t need it because it’s just gonna make you feel bad. If you are busy using it, we will let you know.
